Shauna – Certified Ophthalmic Assistant

I started in the “eye business” in 1996 at Lens Crafters as a frame stylist. When I left 5 years later I was certified as an Optician. I tried my hand at management, but decided it was not my passion. I found and was hired by Dr. Lum in March of 2004. Dr. Lum continually encourages me to increase my knowledge. I have received my certification as an ophthalmic technician(COT) and am currently working to become a certified ophthalmic medical technician (COMT).
